  • Take the Kids to the Playground Did you know that St. Joseph has 11 parks with playgrounds? That’s right! There’s Hyde Park, College Hill, and Seitz Park just to name a few. Create a Park Playground Bucket List with your kiddos and check off visiting each one this summer. The St. Joseph Parks Department has even put together a helpful guide to learn what’s available at each park. You can view it here
  • Plan a Picnic There are so many beautiful places to enjoy a picnic in St. Joe. Spread a blanket out in Krug Park overlooking the theater, or along the River Bluff Trails surrounded by trees. If packing a picnic basket isn’t your thing, then a sandwich from 7th Street Cafe or Marek’s Delicatessen should do the trick. End your picnic with a scenic walk or a game of frisbee.
